McDonalds gives final stock to Love Soup

Volunteers from food rescue charity, Love Soup Hibiscus Coast are working hard to quickly get in final donations from McDonalds and other local food outlets that are closing.

Director Julie King says there has been a lot to collect today, March 25, as they drove around the Hibiscus Coast doing the final pickups – including large amounts of salad ingredients from the local McDonalds.

She says ready-made meals business Manly Park Kitchen has also offered its support in getting food distributed to people who need it.

Love Soup is filling up its fridge and freezer space and volunteer drivers will begin dropping food parcels on the doorsteps of people in need today.
