Wellsford and Manly Volunteer Fire Brigades jointly hosted a Waterways Challenge in Wellsford on November 23. Ten teams from seven brigades, located between Silverdale and Manganui, participated.

The long-running competition puts firefighters’ hose-running and pump-operating skills to the test in a fun and competitive environment.
