A free cervical screening clinic is coming to Women’s Centre Rodney in Morpeth Street, Warkworth on Tuesday, October 22, from 10am to 1pm.
Specialist women smear takers from the Well Women & Family Trust will carry out the screening, which is open to women aged from 20 to 69 years, who are due for a smear test.
The trust was founded in 1988 to ensure women would have access to high quality, free, culturally appropriate respectful and informed cervical screening. It provides regular mobile and community clinics around Auckland, as well as a comprehensive smear taker training programme.
