The Hibiscus Coast Football Club’s 10th grade team (9 and 10-year-olds) came away with a big win at a tournament in Papamoa this month.
Teams from all over the North Island took part in the tournament (which is held annually for 10th grade teams) on July 7.
The Coast team won all its games, with only one goal scored against them – and that was in the final. The final saw anxious moments and excitement on the sidelines as the boys won against Tauranga in a penalty shoot out.
